Vanessa Wagner

Partner

Vanessa is the founding partner of Simple Legacy and an Orange County native. As a mother of two small boys, she deeply empathizes with her clients’ concerns regarding safeguarding their children’s future and ensuring a solid plan is in place.

Vanessa has been an attorney for over ten years. For the past six years, she has been protecting family legacies and navigating complex financial planning. She graduated from the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2014, where she earned the top grades in Real Estate Transactions, Constitutional Law, and Advanced Criminal Procedure/Adjudicative Process. During law school, Vanessa was an Articles Editor of the Chapman Law Review. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Nancy Sandoval

Partner

Nancy is a co-founding partner of Simple Legacy and a San Diego County resident. As a civil litigator with over a decade of experience, she knows firsthand how vague legal language can tear families and businesses apart. Nancy uses her litigation background to draft concise trusts, business agreements, and estate plans that prevent costly disputes before they start.

Nancy earned her J.D. from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2014. While in law school, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Chapman Law Review and published Disabled Yet Disqualified: Is it “Unreasonable” to Demand Accommodations for Employees with Depression Under the Americans with Disabilities Act?, 17 Chap. L. Rev. 687 (2014). Nancy was an extern to the Honorable David O. Carter of the United States District Court and to the Honorable Theodor C. Albert of the United States Bankruptcy Court. She earned her bachelor’s degree in French Cultural Studies from Wellesley College.

Nancy speaks Spanish fluently.
